Landfill

Shirley Caron
“Sunshine Girl of the Landfill”

PLEASE REMEMBER

1)  Sort your recycling carefully at home; and when you arrive at the landfill please be sure to put your recycling into the proper bins.

2)  Please plan your trips to the landfill ahead of time so that you arrive no later than 15 minutes before closing.  Shirley, our self-proclaimed ”Sunshine Girl of the Landfill,” does not get paid overtime for those who are late with their dump runs. Furthermore, if Shirley were to stay open to accommodate a late-comer and something were to happen to her that required medical attention, she would NOT be covered by insurance after her work hours!  This is reason enough for us to arrive at the landfill in plenty of time to make our deposits and leave before Shirley has to lock the gate.
