Hi everyone,

A note about our Canada Day, at the Community Centre. All I can say is thank you to everyone for all the help and input that made it, what I feel, was a very successful day.

Ken, of course, came through with the mobile safety house and Centurion fire extinguisher, great fun for kids and adults too.  Our firemen did their thing with another great BBQ – Thanks guys.  Andrea and the OLA did an absolutely fantastic job with the games and organization under one donated tent – thanks Jeff from Lakewoods and Kimberly Clark.

Fluffy (Melissa) and the drum circle are a big attraction- again for kids and adults alike.

Fluffy even brings her own tent, AND puts it up.  Thank you Cloverleaf for the loan of your tent and the man power (Alex) to erect it.  Music by Joe and Sherisse is always a hit.  Lynne did another super job with the cake(s) and the popcorn was certainly popular too.

Marlene did her usual good job introducing everyone,  and Melissa, they keep us all in line. Whatever would we do without them.

I wish we had more space for everyone but I think all in all we had fun – that’s what it’s all about.

Thank you all again and Thank You Canada for being such a great country – makes it easy to celebrate and thankful that we can live here.
